In the song, this note is played along with the same note an octave lower (10th fret, B string) and an F note (13th fret, high E string) forming a Dminor chord without a D in it, but it only sounds good because this is played by strings and the melody is played by brass so there are two different sounds. On guitar it can sound muddy. If you want to try all three notes, you can play the 14th fret on the G string, the 18th fret on the B string, and the 17th fret on the high E string. Follow your instincts for this. ;) Rhythm: *NOTE*: even though I tabbed out the bar chords here, they only play the root notes of these chords in the actual song. Root notes or, at most, power chords sound the best, NOT bar chords. Also, the last four chords are played VERY SOFTLY in the song. Feel free to not play the first three of the four, although the final Dminor chord should be played.
